Start with the rooms and product
Measure each room separately and mention alcoves, corridors and connecting doorways. A simple room and the same area spread across a hallway involve different cutting and finishing.
Send the product name or link if selected. Make clear whether you want installation of materials you supply or a quote including materials. Avoid comparing labour-only with supply-and-fit.
Allow for preparing the base
Existing coverings may need removal. The base needs assessment for condition, moisture and level before a fitting method is confirmed. Repairs or levelling can be separate tasks; their scope may not be clear from dimensions alone.
