How Much Does CCTV Installation Cost in Dublin?
At NU Home Services, one Wi-Fi security camera with installation and phone setup starts from €250. That is our starting package, not an average price for every CCTV system in Dublin. The number of cameras, positioning and any extra work determine the scope of your quote.
What does the starting package cover?
The package includes one supplied Wi-Fi camera, installation and setup for viewing on your phone. Before the technician leaves, you can see the live picture and receive a walkthrough of the app. The model is confirmed in your quotation.
If you need coverage of a front entrance and a separate rear access, describe both areas rather than assume one camera will provide a useful view of both.
Why can installation quotes differ?
Camera quantity and the intended view are the first considerations. Mounting access, the location and any extra work also matter. An entrance close to the router and an outbuilding at the end of a garden are different jobs.
We use your existing home Wi-Fi. If the proposed position has insufficient signal, an extender may be needed. We explain the solution and confirm any additional cost before proceeding. Do not assume an extender is included in the starting price.
Installation and recording costs are different
Ask how you want to review footage as well as how to watch live video. Cloud recording is optional; a Tapo Care subscription is an additional cost if selected. Confirm the recording arrangement in your quotation.
At handover, check that you understand live viewing, notifications and the recording option you have chosen.
What if you already own a camera?
We can consider installation of a camera you already own. Send its make, model and intended location so we can check the installation requirements. The supplied-camera package price should not be treated as a labour-only price.
How to get a relevant quote in Dublin
